How do you maintain a Ruger 10/22?
Aside from cleaning the bore and the receiver area by removing the trigger group, is removing the actual bolt stop and bolt actually necessary? Even the instruction manual indicates that this is not essential but optional.
What do you do to maintain your 10/22?
Thanks
Bolt and bolt stop? Those are peices that really only need to be cleaned once every couple years if heavily used. Usually the parts that are a task to remove and dissasemble don’t need regular cleaning.
